Expanding the Reach of Omega Alumnae Philanthropy: Donation to Clarkson University’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Office
To expand our impact as Omega alumnae, the 2023 Reunion Committee has chosen to support Clarkson’s DEI Office. Diversity is the presence of differences within a given setting whether it be differences in race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, age, and more. Equity is recognizing that we do not all start from the same place, and we must acknowledge and adjust imbalances. Inclusion is the practice of ensuring that people feel a sense of belonging and support from an organization, the workplace, and from society as a whole.

When we look at our own Omega sisterhood, we see this diversity firsthand and strive for equity and inclusion. It stands to reason then that we would support Clarkson’s efforts to meet their goals to:

  • Increase the number of underrepresented students and staff
  • Professionally develop its students and employees to be global citizens

Clarkson’s DEI Office is excited about our intent to donate and we are so happy to be able to support their efforts.

A donation presentation during Reunion Weekend 2023 is planned on Friday, July 14, 2023, between 10:30 – 11:30AM at the DEI Office on the Clarkson campus.

Thank you to those who donated through the Omega reunion registration.  For those who wish to donate whether or not you are attending the 2023 Reunion, you have the opportunity to do so.  All donations must be received by Noon ET, Friday, July 7, 2023.

To do this click the donate button on this page, enter the amount you wish to donate and when prompted, indicate specifically where you would like your money to go – general operating fund, mansion fund, reunion, emergency, flower fund, etc. You can also use this opportunity to set up an automatic, recurring payment for your donations.
