If you wish to attend Omega’s banquet on Saturday or attend any of the school-sanctioned events, (including the Taste of Potsdam event on Friday), you must pay for these through SUNY Potsdam.
*Omega registration is required to receive swag, prizes, attend Double Axel on Wednesday, and the breakfast on Sunday. If you did not register, free will offerings will be accepted if you would like to join us for DA or breakfast.

- Save the dates! Omega’s Alumni RW is scheduled for July 12 – 16, 2023. This coincides with Reunion Weekend For SUNY Potsdam and Clarkson University, scheduled for July 13– 16, 2023. If you are on Facebook, feel free to join the conversation in the All Things Omega Reunion Facebook Group.

5 Days of Sisterhood & Omega Music
An Across-the-Generations Musical Experience in Potsdam, NY.

Here is what is planned!
Omega Alumnae Philanthropy:
Discussions amongst sisters have led to the desire to increase our philanthropic endeavors. This is our chance to give back to the community we all called home at one time. Please consider participating in this year’s Reunion Weekend projects, even if you are unable to attend the reunion.
New! Professional Clothes Closet Donation To expand our impact as Omega alumnae, the Reunion Committee has chosen to support SUNY Potsdam’s Professional Clothes Closet. The Closet is a student-run initiative that collects and distributes clothes for students in need of professional clothing for interviews and student teaching.
Here is what is proposed:
Each TH or group puts together one (1) outfit to donate to the Closet. (Due to space constraints, please do not bring more than what is being asked.) For example, if you have a TH or group of four, each person chooses one piece to contribute to the outfit (i.e. blouse, skirt, slip, scarf OR suit jacket, dress shirt, tie, and dress pants). A complete list of what is accepted will be provided. Shoes, boots, or outerwear are not accepted at this time. There will also be an option to contribute even if you are not attending the 2023 reunion.
Time of donation presentation 10AM. We will discuss the logistics of where and when to meet if you wish to attend this presentation.
For Clarkson University:
New! Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Donation To expand our impact as Omega alumnae, the Reunion Committee has chosen to support Clarkson’s DEI Office. Diversity is the presence of differences within a given setting whether it be differences in race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, age, and more. Equity is recognizing that we do not all start from the same place, and we must acknowledge and adjust imbalances. Inclusion is the practice of ensuring that people feel a sense of belonging and support from an organization, the workplace, and from society as a whole.
When we look at our own Omega sisterhood, we see this diversity firsthand and strive for equity and inclusion. It stands to reason then that we would support Clarkson’s efforts to meet their goals to:
- Increase the number of underrepresented students and staff
- Professionally develop its students and employees to be global citizens

For the Community: School Supply Drive
Once again, school supplies will be collected and donated to the Lawrence Avenue Elementary School. A list of suggested supplies will be provided. Double the impact by purchasing your donation in Potsdam. Supplies will be collected at ‘Song Central Station’, TH# TBA, up until the time of delivery on Friday morning. There will also be an option to contribute even if you are not attending the 2023 reunion.
When: Drop off your donations anytime at ‘Song Central Station’ (TH# TBA) through 9:00AM Friday morning, July 12, 2023. Anticipate drop off time is 11:30 AM – 12PM.
Here is a list of supplies provided by the school but feel free to donate items not on the list. Bring supplies with you or double the impact by purchasing them in Potsdam.
For SUNY Potsdam:
Prometheus Alumni Association Food Pantry will be dedicated on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10AM. We have helped Prometheus with food collection in the past and the Omega Alumnae Reunion Committee would like Omega Alumnae to be present with a donation.
Wednesday, July 12, 2023: Omega Reunion Begins!
Plan to arrive on campus early and enjoy meeting and greeting our sisters as we arrive! Nothing else quite compares!

10AM OmegaReads Book Club & Bellinis
Under the Townhouse Quad tent.
In case you missed it, OmegaReads is a book club of Omega alumni who meet via Zoom almost monthly to share moments of sisterhood and of course discuss books. It was decided to meet in person during RW and all are invited!
The book to be discussed is Band of Sisters by Lauren Willig.
Join if you are able, even if you don’t get a chance to finish the book. A Zoom option will be made available for those who will not be in Potsdam who wish to join in.
Afternoon: Continue to meet & greet arrivals! Decorate your campus lodging door/window related to the theme. Shop for school supplies.
4 – 6PM Join us for SUNY Potsdam’s Welcome Reception at Becky’s Place to meet the new president, enjoy finger foods courtesy of the College as well as a cash bar. And sing along with Alex!
Then, it’s off to Knowles Lobby for Sergis, Songs & Sisters
Join us for an evening of singing Omega songs and songs throughout the decades, playing song games, reminiscing about our favorite songs while we were in college (Omega or otherwise), making up new songs and stuffing our faces with Sergi’s. We will pass the hat or BYO if you do not want Sergi’s. Cash bar.

Drivers will be needed for the delivery of our donations. The plan is to do all three of these presentations, together, going straight from one to the next.
